Excellent communication and easy check-in process. The property was clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed. The location was great, with easy walking distance to the city center and lots of green spaces nearby for walking our dog. We also loved the convenience of having a bakery just down the road for breakfast or quick lunches. Free on-street parking right outside the house was a major plus too.

The description could have been clearer about the steep staircase and the fact that the bathroom was downstairs. Although the hosts offered to come and fix the heating when we couldn't get it to work, we decided not to bother since we were going out and the temperature wasn't a major issue for us.

The Knavesmire York - Free Parking Villa was just what I needed for my stay in York. The location was perfect, with a pleasant walk into town along the river. The house itself was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The local pub served delicious tapas, and the nearby bakery had amazing breakfast sandwiches. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, like the firm beds and warm bedrooms due to the heatwave, my overall experience was fantastic. We loved the location, just a short walk from York Races and the city center. the nearby bakery served delicious and affordable bacon and sausage baps. There were also plenty of dog-friendly places to eat, recommended by the host.
